Communicating with Parents

The Jolimont Update

Jolimont Primary School publishes an update every week (except Weeks 3, 6 and 9). We understand how busy parents lives are and sometimes we just don’t have the time to sit and read a lot of information.  The Jolimont Update is designed to remind parents of upcoming important dates and communicate information briefly. It is meant as a quick read.

Jolimont Newsletter

Our school newsletter is a celebration of the hard work happening around our school and provides topical information.  This newsletter will be made available Weeks 3, 6 and 9 of each term and are emailed to all parents (hard copies also available at the front office). We urge you to keep informed. This is a great way to keep up to date with what is happening in and around.

Joimont Primary School is committed to providing high-quality educational programs for its students. Assessment, planning and reporting are integral to the achievement of these outcomes. Our goal is to provide constructive, effective and timely feedback to students, parents and teachers.

At the beginning of the new school year, each class teacher will communicate with parents to outline their expectations and teaching program. If you have any concerns about your child’s schooling, you are encouraged to make an appointment with the teacher.

Parent-Teacher Meetings

You will be given a formal opportunity to discuss your child’s progress at parent-teacher meetings. However, if you have any concerns, don’t wait, please make an appointment to discuss these concerns as they arise with the relevant teacher.
